Stanly County Schools is pleased to announce that Ms. Kate Blazer has been named the new Principal of North Stanly High School.
Ms. Blazer brings a wealth of experience in education, having started her career in 2011. She has served in a variety of roles across multiple grade levels and school settings, including High School Science and Math Teacher at Performance Learning Center High in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), Dean of Students at Lebanon Road Elementary in CMS, and Assistant Principal at J.H. Gunn Elementary in CMS. Most recently, she has served as the Principal of Norwood Elementary here in Stanly County Schools.
Dr. Andrea Russell has been named the new Principal of Stanly County Virtual Education (SCoVE) and the Stanly Academy Learning Center (SALC).
Dr. Russell brings with her 20 years of dedicated service in education—all within Stanly County Schools.
